This is how Harrison Kraft shares his experience with Tokina AT-X 14-20 F2 PRO DX lens:
1) Why did you choose the Tokina 14-20mm F2 for creating your video works?
"When shooting with a zoom lens, I like to have a fast constant aperture throughout the zoom range. This allows me to not have to adjust lighting or ND filtration when changing focal length. In addition, there are no other wide zoom lenses at this price point with an aperture this fast."
2) What is your feedback about the performance of the lens with the BMPCC 4K camera?
"When using the Bmpcc 4K, I like to use a .71x speedbooster to allow me to get a similar image that I would if using a Super 35mm sensor. The fast aperture allows for a pleasing shallow depth of field with fantastic image sharpness. The focus throw is a very good distance around the lens barrel."
3) If you were asked what you think about the Tokina 14-20mm F2, what pros would point out?
"Great quality for price. Solid build. Great optics. Fast aperture. Good flare control. Focus breathing is relatively minimal."
